1. Data We Do NOT Collect

We take your privacy seriously. This application does not collect or ask for personally identifiable information such as your name, email, phone number, contacts, or location. Your GPA calculations, saved academic results, and theme preferences are processed and stored strictly locally on your device.

2. Chatbot & Analytics Data

To provide a smart, over-the-air updated AI Assistant (UA Assistant), the app connects to the internet and transmits the following anonymous data:

• Chat Queries: Questions you type into the chatbot are securely logged to help us understand what students are looking for and to improve the bot's accuracy.
• Device Diagnostics: We collect basic device information (e.g., Device Model, OS Version, Screen Size, and App Version) to help us fix bugs and optimize the app for different phones.
• Anonymous ID: The app generates a random, anonymous User ID. This is used solely to prevent spam and enforce daily message limits (rate-limiting) to keep our servers running smoothly for everyone.

3. Data Storage & Third Parties

The anonymous chat logs and diagnostic data are securely transmitted to our internal databases. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with any third-party advertisers, companies, or individuals.

4. Permissions

This app requires basic internet access to fetch the latest university fee structures, schedules, and bot responses. It does not require access to your camera, microphone, or storage files.

5. Children's Privacy

Our app is intended for university students. Because we do not collect any personal identifying data, we remain compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
